Carol Rhea Thrower Tinnin, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend departed from this earth on November 3, 2017 at the age of 79, of parkinsons and dementia.

She was born Oct. 30, 1938 to Whitney Conrad and Sydney Clem Cook Thrower in the sleepy town of Kennett, MO. She was blessed with three wondereful brothers; Stephen, Thal and Sid.

In 1956, the year she graduated, she represented Missouri in the Miss Universe Pageant.  She was not only known for her outer beauty, but her inner beauty as well. She was swept off her feet by the love of her life Pat Tinnin. They went on to start a family of six children Tracy (Joe), Kelly (Gary), Robin (Russ), Mike (Denise), Merrideth (Steve), Matt (Leslie). Then along came 18 grands and 27 great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy and #1 Job. She served in many callings in the LDS church, a very faithful servant of our Father in Heaven, She was loved by many, especially her children.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Beehive Home for the loving care of our mother.
