Emblem
Albert was born November 5, 1952, to Angel and Angela Ramirez in Southern California. He was the second of five children and the oldest son. Albert served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1977. While on deployment to Germany, Albert encountered several Christian men who invited him to a Bible study. While studying the Bible, Albert came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

After he returned home from deployment, he met the love of his life, Sharon Taylor, at Grace Bible Church in Rialto, California. Their friendship grew and transformed into a 46-year marriage.

Albert owned his own roofing company, A-Brite Roofing, in St. George, Utah for several years prior to his diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 46. Albert lived the next 26 years of his life to the fullest. With Sharon by his side, he traveled to many places—Hawaii, the Southeast, multiple national parks, and more. Even with his life-altering disease, he never met a stranger and was always eager to talk to people about his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Albert loved airplanes, WWII documentaries, action movies, history and government, museums, archaeology, fishing, national parks, car shows, air shows, and more. Even after some time, his daughter convinced him to love cats which to his dying day he blamed her for.

Albert will be missed by many, but we are happy he is free from his illness and with his Savior Jesus Christ.  Albert is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Ramirez, their 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and many close friends. A viewing will be held at Westside Baptist Church located at 2299 W 2000 N, St. George, UT 84770 on April 29, 2024 from 9:30 to 11:00am followed by a service at 11:00am.  The interment will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 10:00am at the Santa Clara City Cemetery.

As we say goodbye to Albert, we remember the words of this song:

It Is Not Death to Die
Songwriters: Bob Kauflin, Henri A Cesar Malan, George Washington Bethune.

It is not death to die
To leave this weary road
And join the saints who dwell on high
Who've found their home with God
It is not death to close
The eyes long dimmed by tears
And wake in joy before Your throne
Delivered from our fears
Oh, Jesus, conquering the grave
Your precious blood has power to save
Those who trust in You will in Your mercy find
That it is not death to die
