Alec Mitchell Brown

August 27, 1999 — July 25, 2024

Hurricane, Utah

Alec Mitchell Brown, 24, passed away from a tragic motorcycle accident in St George, Utah. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 27, 1999 to Ronald Brown and Lynnette (Young) Brown.

Alec and his family moved to St. George, Utah when he was three, and he grew up surrounded by nature’s beauty. He attended Fossil Ridge Middle school and PineView High School, where he concurrently attended the Dixie Tech EMT program. He loved playing paintball during his late teens as well as boating, camping, and hiking with his family and friends. Alec and his older brother Cory loved to go target shooting with their dad as well as collect guns.

He had a passion for cooking and create flavors with his father. He then became an amazing chef at local restaurants. Food was Alec’s way to love and care for those around him. He loved his work and considered his coworkers as part of his extensive list of family. He definitely loved hanging out and just visiting for hours with family and friends, and always worked to keep the people around him smiling and happy.

His main passion was anything that went fast. Four wheeling, riding dirt bikes, street motorcycles and cars. Alec started riding ATV’s at the age of three and was very passionate about riding and driving as much as he could. He always said, "just trust me Mom". His only speed was fast and worked constantly to perfect new tricks. He was given the nickname "Motor-Moe" at an early age because of his love for fast moving machines. Nothing and no one could ever slow him down or make him take a break. He was set in his ways and lived his life to the fullest.

Last but not least, Alec loved to travel. His family would fit in as many adventures as they could during the our trips; always coming home exhausted from the fun activities. From the mountains, cruising the Caribbean and exploring Mexico, Alec was sure to enjoy each vacation and immerse himself in the experiences. He was fluent in Spanish and it definitely came in handy at times. We will miss his amazing interpreting skills.

Alec is survived by his father, Ronald Brown, his mother, Lynnette Brown, his older brother, Cory Brown, along with many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and his two grandmothers.
