Dr. Alvin R. Holley, 88, passed Dec. 1, 2012 in St. George, Utah. "Doc" was born August 29, 1924, in Rexburg, Idaho. He was the 4th child to William Ingram Holley and Lottie Verna Nichols. Alvin is survived by wife, Dee and children Christine (Mark) Perkins, John Holley, Allison Hunt, Valerie (Stacey) Son, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Doc loved missionary work and served in 3 LDS mission presidencies. Doc was a prominent orthodontist for 30 years in California. He died of complications related to congestive heart failure. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 Sat, Dec. 8, at the LDS chapel on 4461 S. Country Club in St. George.
