Charles Wesson Wells
St. George, UT Charles Wesson Wells, 82, passed away September 4, 2012, in St. George, UT. He was born May 29, 1930 in Castle Gate, UT to Leo and Ula Jo Wells. He was married to Marcia Kaye Severe in 2002. He was married to Tressie Lousie Marx in 1953 until her passing.
Charles was the youngest Battalion Chief in the Los Angeles County Fire Department and a Bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Living most of his life in Agoura, California, he loved traveling, reading and house boating on Lake Powell with family and friends.
He is survived by: His wife, Marcia Kay Wells, St. George, UT; h is children Vince and Wendy (Wells) Hull, Agoura, CA; Mark and Annelle Wells, Trabuco Canyon, CA; Bill and Christy (Wells) Bollard, Irvine, CA; and Craig and Lee Wells, Agoura, CA; and his 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grand children.
We will miss his soft blue eyes, spiritual strength and sense of humor.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 2 pm at the Winchester Hill LDS chapel located at 5338 Winchester Dr, St. George. Visitation will be from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm at the same location. Internment will be 11 am on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Cemetery, Westlake Village, CA.
