David Lee Hardison, 67, passed from this mortal existence, quietly on January 6, 2020, after a short and very unexpected illness in St. George, Utah. He was born on June 24, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas. He was the son of Lawrence Maple Hardison, Jr. and JoAnn Weir. David’s children include: Jamie (deceased), Crystal, David and Michael.
David married his eternal sweetheart in Washington state on March 20, 2012. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on July 26, 2013.
David was raised in Texas, moving to many different towns. He lived in California after serving for three years in the Marines right out of high school. He was very proud of his military service and being a Marine.
David loved electric trains, his dog, Koda, and he loved fishing. He had just purchased a new fishing boat which he thoroughly enjoyed using. He was also very interested in politics and he felt like President Trump has been the best president ever.
David is survived by his wife, Belinda, his step-daughter Georgianna (Jake) Cleland and their three daughters: Dallas, Liliana, and Aubrey; step-son Ross (Carmen) Jorgensen and their four children: Mitchell (Ashleigh), Alexis, Saige and Cole. David’s grandkids meant the world to him. He would plan for days for their upcoming visits.
David was loved by many friends and neighbors who had the rare opportunity of associating with this humble, kind, patient and unassuming man. He will be deeply missed.
