David Alvin Myers, born on May 6, 1942, in Milford, Utah, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, in Beaver, Utah. He leaves behind a legacy enriched by the love of his family, his cherished pastimes, and the special bonds he nurtured throughout his life.
David was the fifth of eight children born to Ernest Myers and Jessie Howe. David leaves behind his sister Maureen Beautler, who he had a very special relationship with as they spent countless cherished hours together, often enjoying leisurely lunches and drives. This bond was a source of great joy and companionship for both.
David married Patsy Griffiths, with whom he had six children: Matt, Markita, Marissa, Burgundy, and Sonny. Though he and Patsy later divorced, David found love again and married Janet Myers. While his son Clayton has passed, David’s heart was filled with pride and affection for his surviving children, his 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly. He was so proud of all of them and loved them so much.
David was a man of many interests, he was an enthusiastic fan of horse races, enjoyed fishing and dancing, and wouldn't go anywhere without his cap! Among his favorite traditions was the annual "Myers deer camp," a time when the family would gather, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
David's legacy lives on not only through those he loved but also in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
We will miss you, Dad.
