She was the first-born of two daughters to Ethel Butler Topham and John William Topham. Dee was an excellent homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother, not only to her own family, but many others who sometimes showed up unexpectedly on her doorstep and needed love and a place to stay. She was also active in her husband’s dental practice as general manager and worked in the dental industry for many decades.

Active in her church, Dee served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Primary president, Young Women’s president, Relief Society president, and together with her husband Alvin served in three mission presidencies in Northern California. Dee also loved to sing and sang in many different musical groups, most recently the choir in Sun River 2nd Ward in St. George, Utah.

Dee died peacefully in her sleep after complications with pancreatic cancer. Services will be held Saturday, March 2nd at 2:00pm at the LDS chapel on 4461 S. Country Club in St. George. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the Sutton Cemetery in Archer, Idaho.
