Douglas Charles Wiseman, 81, passed away on April 13, 2024 in his Ivins, Utah home.
He was born on June 26, 1942 in Basalt, Idaho to Charles and Melba Wiseman. He married Vivian Edwards in Idaho Falls, Idaho on January 31, 1966. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls temple.
He was raised in Firth, Idaho and graduated from Firth High School. He graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. He raised his family in Rigby, Idaho. He worked for District 6 State Highway Department until his retirement.
He had many outdoor hobbies including baseball, hunting, fishing, and using any outdoor toy he could play on.
He is survived by his loving wife Vivian, daughter Stacy McCammon (Cort McCammon) St. George, UT and son Kelly Wiseman (Heather Gunderson) Basalt, ID; grandchildren Kesley, Devan, Paxton, Toran, Tory, and Alyx; great grandchildren Blakely, Mack, Skye, Hendrix, Jaxson, Adelaide, Vayah and 3 more on the way; sister Shirley Mecham.
Private graveside services will be held under the direction of McMillan Mortuary of St. George.
