Geraldine Snell
December 5, 1918 — December 29, 2017
Geraldine Marie “Keck” Snell, of St. George, age 99, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully with her family at
her side on December 29, 2017.
Geri was born in Avilla, Indiana on December 5, 1918 to Henry William and Emma Marie Hess Keck.
She married her high school sweetheart Nelson Raymond Snell on May 1, 1941.
Nelson and Geri were married for 60 years before Nelson passed away in August 2001.
Geri retired from JC Penny’s. She resided in St. George, Utah for the last 21 years.
Geri is survived by her three children, Keith (Connie) Snell, Huntertown, Indiana,
Connie Mosier, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Juanita DeHeck of St. George, Utah.
She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Tonaquint Cemetery.
We would to give special thanks to all the workers at the Seasons Health Care for all the loving care she received while she was with them. They also gave her the most wonderful send off, it really touched our hearts. We would also like to thank all those with IHC Hospice.
