Gregory Newman

Gregory James Newman was born January 31, 1945 to Mildred D. Riis and William G. Newman in San Diego, CA (both deceased). He died at his residence in St. George, Utah on May 8, 2014 incident to his frail body aging.
Greg married Sandie Tonkin in the 60's and had two wonderful children, DeeAnn and Gregory, who were later adopted and raised by Dave Tripiano and Sandie, which Greg was comforted by and grateful for.
Having the gift of creativity, being quick minded, full of life and possessing a sweet spirit, Greg was a sought after carpenter from California to Hawaii. His hands served him well whether playing drums in a dance band, carrying on his construction company, or later in life occupying his time with small and intricate carvings while being challenged with multiple health issues.
He is survived by his children and his siblings Kaye Kent (Art), Jann Redding (Frank), Richard Jensen and Douglas Jensen. His remains are cremated and no services will be held.
