Grover Bagby

Grover Carl Bagby, 95, was received into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on April 20, 2018. He died peacefully at home of age related illnesses with his children at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jacquelyn. Grover Carl was born March 8, 1923 at home in Parma, Missouri.  He and his first wife Mary were blessed with two sons, Ray and David Bagby. Grover Carl joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at the age of 42.

He met and fell madly in love with Jacquelyn Bryan and her four children, Susan (Brian) Hughes, Nancy Benge, Chris (Shirley) Bagby and Dana Bedford. Jacquelyn and Grover Carl were sealed in the Provo temple on July 18, 1972.  Grover Carl adopted her four children and they became a family. He later adopted and raised their two granddaughters Lisa Nicole (Ty) Friedel and Jennifer Lynn (Steve) Bonk. He is survived by eight children and 24 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11 am at the Veyo LDS chapel on 176 E. Center St, Veyo, UT 84728 with a viewing prior from 10-10:45 am.
