Jack Warren Huntley, 89, of St. George, Utah passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home. Jack was born on February 9, 1934 in Pulaski, NY to Carlton and Belva Warren Huntley. He graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1950 and later served in the U.S. Air Force for four and a half years. He earned an Associates degree in Applied Science, with a major in Instrumentation Technology from State University of New York in 1959. He worked for numerous companies and later retired from the Navajo Generating Station in Page, AZ.
Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was happily married to his first wife, Beverly, for almost 39 years until her death in 1994. He married Christine in 1996 and they enjoyed almost 27 years before his passing. He has 3 children, Leslie Duwel, Douglas Huntley and Lori Conder and 4 stepchildren, Lori Rogers (deceased), Christian Burner, Tom Burner, and Jeri Marshall and many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jack was known for his love of sports. He loved watching them and when he was younger, he loved playing them. He became a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1976 and stayed an active member until his death. He served as ward clerk, bishop, high priest leader and was in the stake high council.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:00 at 511 Valley View Dr. in St. George, UT. A viewing will be prior to services from 10:00-10:45am at the same location. Graveside services with military honors and interment will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Salem City Cemetery 979 S. 130 E., Salem, UT.
Jack will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will live on forever in their hearts.
