When you read this, it will mean I have closed my eyes for the last time: October 2, 2023.
I am now on a new journey; one we will all experience at some point in time. I am now on my way to the great golf course in the sky.
I lived 80 fun-filled years with family and friends. I was born to Lealond {Lee} and Virginia Henriod on June 11, 1943. My brother Dean and my sister Leesa and I were raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Upon graduating from Weber State University, I held many positions working for the US Government where I retired from DCMA as a GS-1101-14 as acting Commander/Chief of the Utah Operations Group.
In my youth I enjoyed cars, hunting, and fishing. I replaced these later in life with camping, golfing, and ATV’s.
I will miss my wife Rosalie and our 52 years of marriage, my sons David, Troy, Daniel, Jeremy, my 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
I have been blessed with a beautiful family and great friends. I was able to create so many memories and receive so much kindness throughout my life.
Last, but not least, I would like to give a special thanks to all my care givers for all that they have done for me these last few years.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
