Our beloved John Allen Blazevic returned home to his Heavenly Father on October 4, 2025, at St. George Regional Hospital after suffering a heart attack. He was born on January 25, 1949, to John Blazevic and Lena Santell Blazevic in Cleveland, Ohio. When he was seven years old his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona. John was always busy doing things as a child. He had a paper route, would do door to door sales, and in high school was part of the backstage tech team and stage manager for the drama program. After high school he worked as a busboy at different restaurants. He learned more about electronics at night classes and worked for an auto radio shop for a while and also installed security equipment in buildings. His father-in-law helped him get into the Teamsters Union and he was able to work for the copper mines in southern Arizona and MM Sundt. He and his wife Coye decided to move north up into the mountains, and he continued to work for MM Sundt and later for Hatch Construction. He switched over to FNF Construction and became a superintendent and worked all over the west as equipment supervisor maintaining and repairing heavy equipment for the highway paving crew. He eventually tired of all the travel and bought a franchise with Steamatic and mitigated flood and fire damage in northern Arizona. John was the kind of man who wanted to be able to do everything himself, so he was quite handy. He could build a house, do plumbing and wiring, repair heavy equipment, put in sprinkler systems, repair appliances, and fix almost anything on a vehicle.
John is survived by his second wife Lorraine Martin Blazevic, his son Jason John Blazevic (Trina and grandchildren Brody and Ava), his daughters Audra Blazevic Heinze (grandchildren Dallin, Austin, Ashleigh, and Deanna), Carrie Ryan Blazevic Meredith (husband Scott, grandchildren Beth, Chloe, Hunter, and Lilly), Angeline Marie Blazevic, and Mattie Julia Blazevic (husband Taylor Robinson and granddaughter Lyra), also his sisters Carol Ann Eberle and Dorothy Marie Schork Williams (husband David), and his brother James Allen Schneider. John was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Coye Marie Hazelton Blazevic.
This kind and talented man is missed so much.
