Joseph Messineo
January 31, 1931 — July 17, 2017
Joseph Messineo passed away peacefully at home in St. George, Utah on July 17, 2017. He was born in Pasaic, New Jersey on January 31, 1931. Joe eventually settled in Big Bear with his wife Linda and daughters. Known as “Joe the Barber” because of his 36 year barbering career. Joe also enjoyed working as a photographer, plasterer, and most recently as a sample dispenser.
After his wife Linda’s passing, he was blessed with a new life with Rosie and her sons. People often comment on his positive outlook, compassionate heart, and contagious smile. He will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his loving wife Rosie, and children Roseana, Melissa, Melinda, and Albert. He was preceded in death by his parents Sadie and Stephen Messineo and his wife Linda and son Greg.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10:00am at the St. George Catholic Church.
