On October 8, 2025 Keith B. Fielding left mortality in Hamiltons Fort, Utah to join his Father Steven, Grandson Kairos, and Brother Matt. He was born March 13,1965 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Steven Lynn Fielding and Linda Braithwaite Fielding, to become the fourth of what would become a family of ten children.
His father’s career in medicine and the Air Force took them to many states throughout the United States as well as three years in Japan, where Keith started kindergarten. As they moved around Keith was quick to make friends wherever he went. He graduated from Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Idaho where he was on the wrestling team. He went to UVU for a year in Orem, Utah before serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. Keith had a humble and sweet testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and touched many lives by his life’s story and testimony. He held several callings in his church, including a High Councilman in a YSA Stake, and was currently a Sunday School teacher for youth.
His growing up years were spent chasing with his seven brothers, shooting guns, riding bikes, and of course, harassing his two sisters. The family had an enormous, really enormous, sand box in which the boys spent many hours using their Tonka construction toys building roads, mountains, dams, castles and anything a bunch of busy boys could think of.
Keith loved to work with his hands and he accomplished and earned his livelihood in the field of construction as a supervisor for building beautiful homes and later in doing meticulous finish work and remodels in his own business. Meticulous is an understatement for the beautiful work he did, he was a perfectionist in his work.
Keith’s dimpled smile was as wide as an ocean with a warmth and loving personality that just drew people into his circle of love and kindness. He never met or left anyone’s side that wasn’t his friend.
He married Jeanne Heath and together they claimed twelve children. He is survived by the love of his life, Jeanne, his children Katrice (Robby) Kolibar, Keeley Eichler, McKenna (Kevin) Zuniga, Madison (Kallan) Webster, and only son, Tanner (Gabrielle) Fielding. He has eleven adorable grandchildren, (Phoenix, Aurelius, Leonidas, Paris) Kolibar, (Lilah, May) Eichler, Via Zuniga, (Boston, Evie, Emme) Webster, Tatum Fielding. Step-children April Heath, Amy Wixom, Crystal (Eddy) Beckstead, Amanda Heath, Albert Heath, Katelyn (Davin) Freja-Nielsen along with 6 step-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his mother, Linda Fielding, his siblings, Terri (Stephen) Stockinger, Lorin (Brenda), Gary (Brenda), Ken (Kris), Daryl (Karen), Eric (Shannon), sister-in-law, Brittney Fielding, Laurie Lyon, Jason (Janell), and a huge number of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Keith and Jeanne enjoyed spending time together with family. In the last few years, they built the KJ Ranch in which he delighted in raising a variety of animals including chickens, turkeys, ducks, and rabbits. The KJ Ranch was his happy place. From the time he was little he enjoyed fishing with his family and friends and often fished many lakes and streams in the Cedar Mountains. The thrill and dream of a lifetime was a deep-sea fishing trip to Alaska in July 2025 with his brother, Ken. The pictures of Keith’s huge smile from that trip will be forever etched in our minds.
There are no words to express our grief, but also no words adequate enough to express our sincere and deep love for a very good man. We love you, Keith! #FieldingStrong
