Larry Griffith

Larry Newton Griffith born Jan 20, 1936 to R. Clifford Griffith and Lois Newton. He died at the age of 75 due to complications of old age. He was married to his sweetheart Bonnie Lou Dale on June 27, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple by Elder LeGrande Richards. He graduated from Tooele High in 1954 and BYU in ’63 BS and ’67 M.Ed. Together they served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Las Vegas, NV mission. He was a faithful priesthood holder and served in many callings including president of the 70’s in the Taylorsville Utah Stake. He loved riding his ATV with the Tri-State OHV club members, friends and family. He is survived by his wife, children: Lori Lieb (Steve), Denise Bowman (Russ), Gayleen O’Bourke (George), Darin (Brandi), Derek (Erika), and 19 grandchildren. Siblings Grant (Irene), Monte (Nancy), Scott (Susan), Sharla Hansen (Doug).
Preceded in death by parents, sister in law Elaine Griffith, Nephew Travis Griffith, 2 Granddaughters Madisen and Alexis Bowman.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, at 11:00 am at the Foremaster Chapel, 912 S. 1740 E., St. George, UT. A viewing will held from 10:00 to 10:45 am prior to services. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, November 23, at 1:00 pm, at the Lake Point Cemetery, 7852 N. Mountain View Rd., Lake Point UT.
