Noel Buckley

Noel Rollins Buckley, 87, September 13, 2017 St George, Utah. He was born February 20, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to Horace Eugene Buckley and Grace Marguerite Stalker. He married Helen Maurine Goodwin (Idaho Falls, Idaho) in Great Neck, NY on January 11, 1953.
Noel was reared in Amityville, NY, attended Amityville High School, Peekskill Military Academy and the Long Island Institute of Agriculture and Technology. He was an Instrument Technician for Grummen Aircraft before enlisting in the Marine Corps and serving during the Korean War. Upon return from Korea, Noel was a construction foreman for Goodwin Builders Construction of Idaho Falls; he went on to work for other construction companies, owned his own construction company, and lastly worked for Brigham Young University.
He is survived by his wife, Maurine Buckley. Children: Robert Buckley, Margie Buckley, St George. Helen (Lloyd) Patterson, Provo. Grandchildren: Maurine (Kris) Long (IA), George (Lindsey) Patterson, Douglas, Katherine and Molly Patterson (Provo) Camilla (Matt) Morris (AZ), Candace (Jesse) Grace and Matthew Harvey (St George) and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 16, 11:00 a.m. at the Snow Canyon 11th Ward chapel 1625 N 2400 W (Lava Flow Drive), St George, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-10:45 a.m.
