Our dear, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away surrounded by family and friends, March 24, 2017.
Phyllis was born on June 16, 1935 in Sherman Oaks, CA to Byron and Lois Hight. Phyllis married Jack Lee Berg, August 3, 1957. They enjoyed a long life together until his passing in 1999.
Our parents, with the family, moved to Sandy, Utah in 1963. We all attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where Mom was involved in women’s ALCW, bible studies and prayer.
Mom loved her family and friends and was known for her open door where hot coffee and conversation was always brewing.
She is survived by her children: Colleen (Allen) Moseng, Janice (Curtis) Evans; Peggy (Jeff) Horrocks; Carl (Mary) Berg; 11 grandchildren; 15 1/2 great-grandchildren; brother Ron, (Pat) Hight; sister Dixie Zonshine (deceased) and a large group of friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 8575 S. 700 E. Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy, UT.
