Robert "Bob" Kent Cloud, 85, passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in St. George, Utah on June 24, 2026. He was born January 14, 1941 in Pasco, Washington, to George and Maurine Cloud. He married Anne Tyler, the love of his life, on July 20, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were married almost 30 wonderful years.

He attended grade school in Kennewick. In the 4th grade he developed a love of architecture and decided that's what he wanted to do when he grew up. He spent time playing baseball with his cousins and playing the clarinet. He received his degree in architecture from the University of Washington, Seattle. Bob loved to create and was passionate about designing buildings large and small. He was the lead architect for the projects of the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas as well as Mall of America in Minnesota. He oversaw many other projects in several states and countries around the world. He spent much time traveling to and from Korea as he oversaw the construction of several buildings there. He lived in Walla Walla, Wa, Portland, Or, Seattle, WA and Santa Monica, Ca. He enjoyed traveling in his RV and going to the beach to watch the sun set with his beloved, Anne.

Bob loved spending time with his sister, Carole and his nieces, Amie and Angel. When he married Anne, he gained an instant family. He was a loving grandfather and father figure to her children and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing with the grandkids and always took a special interest in what they were doing. Bob always had a gentle presence and was a great observer of others. He helped many who were struggling, blessing their lives with kind words and cheerful encouragement. He was well loved by his family and neighbors and will be deeply missed.

He was a member of the Church of Christ, Scientist.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anne, his sister Carole Baldwin, Bellevue, WA, nieces Amie Chitwood (Steve) grand nephews, Atticus and Abraham Chitwood, Castle Pines, CO and Angela Dellacort-Thomas (Jason) Grand nieces, Amanda Groshko and Adriana Dellacort, Simi Valley, CA. Step children- Heather Rigby (Lorin) Idaho Falls, ID, Tyler Gessel (Jerrae) Hyrum,Ut, Sarah Williams (Quentin) Lander, Wy, Michael Gessel (Melynda) Rigby, ID. 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, David Baldwin

A memorial service with family will be held at a later date.

Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sunnyside, Washington, under the direction of McMillan Mortuary
