Roland (Rollie) Lynham Williams

I was born September 4, 1928 to James Lloyd and Helen Lynham Williams. My brother Ken arrived before me.

I was called into military service with the 4th Army as a wedding present during the Korean War.

I have had a good life filled with sweet family and many good friends. My years at Mt. Fuel (Questar) brought growing experiences and life long friendships.

My marriage to Colleen Cottrell on September 1, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple brought great happiness. She always told me she had two votes to my one to keep me out of trouble. We were blessed to have Lane (deceased), Steven (deceased), David (Julie), Robert (Julie), Nancy (Scott) Frandsen and Tricia Hinton. They in turn brought us thirteen grandchildren and fourteen greats.

I am so very grateful for the years given to me.

Rollie passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 89.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Valley 5th Ward, 100 North Valley View Drive, St. George, Utah. A viewing will be from 1:00 to 1:45 pm prior to the funeral services at the same location.

Graveside services will held Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.  A viewing will be from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at 6350 South Rodeo Lane, Murray, Utah prior to graveside services and interment.
