Ronald DuWayne Sewell, 80, died on April 26, 2016 in St. George, Utah. He was born on August 22, 1935 in Atlantic, Iowa to Ralph E. Sewell and Cora Emily Anderson He married Valerie Takako Meyers of Hilo, Hawaii in the Laie LDS Hawaiian Temple on December 14, 1964.
Ronald lived in California, Hawaii, Circleville, Utah, and sailed the South Pacific. He was a commercial fisherman.
He served missions to Hawaii, FHC Provo, Utah, and Kiritimati, Kiribati.
He is survived by his wife; his children Aukai (Kapua Tukuafu) Hilo, HI, Kunio (Debbie Sumiki) Hilo, HI, Namahana (Jim Tukuafu) Spanish Fork, UT, Olani (Hina Tukuafu) Kona, HI; 13 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held May 3, 2016 at 11:00am at the Circleville Utah Cemetery.
