Sandra Louise Peterson Bryant, age 82, of La Verkin, Utah, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 5, 1943, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, to Silven Vergil Peterson and Audrey Cordelia Davis Peterson. Sandra was raised in Fairview, Utah, alongside five siblings, and carried many fond memories of her childhood throughout her life.

Sandra was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was blessed with four daughters: Jodi, Lori, Stephanie (deceased) and Kareena, and she leaves behind a legacy of love for her twelve grandchildren. She was previously married to Steve Nevert Stevens, and John Kent Agard then later sealed to her beloved husband, Logan Bryant, on January 13, 1994, in the St. George, Utah Temple. Logan preceded her in death in December 2000.

Sandra had a remarkable gift for nurturing and lifting others. She found joy in simple, meaningful moments, gathering with family for meals, playing Spinner, sharing stories, and laughing together. She loved gardening, family history, reading, and exploring nature.

A lifelong learner, Sandra was always eager to expand her knowledge and share it with those around her. She was often surrounded by her favorite books, especially those about the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, which brought her peace, strength, and joy. Her faith in Jesus Christ and His restored Gospel was the anchor of her life.

Sandra served a mission, with her husband Logan, as a temple ordinance worker in the Washington D.C. Temple, a sacred time they shared in devoted service to the Lord. After Logan’s passing, she continued her service as an active temple ordinance worker in the St. George Temple for many years. She remained a dedicated and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, finding great joy in service, worship, and temple attendance.

A true patriot, Sandra’s love for her country was only matched by her devotion to her faith and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Jodi, (Darrell Lewis), Lori, (Keith Bacon), Stephanie (deceased) and Kareena, (Chris Bracken), her grandchildren, Brandon and Brooke Lewis, Delena and BenJoe Markland, Sadee Lewis, Rebekah Lewis, Heather Theobald and Erendera Ruiz, Morgan Theobald, Shaunna Lorenz, Tina Bacon, Brock Bracken, Brynlee and Naaman Trotter, Kodee and Parker Ence, Callen Bracken, Shaye Bracken and Taytum Bracken, her great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Rachel, Madison, Wilford, Joanna, Josie, Dallin, Mateo, Dixie, Robert, Lyla, Maisy, Cody, Lexi, Liam, Luke, Levi, Bennett, Jonah and Van, also her many dear nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Logan; her parents; and her siblings: Jean, Arlene, Vergil, Lynda, and Craig.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the La Verkin LDS Chapel, located at 481 North Main Street, with a viewing from 11-11:45 on the same day. Interment will follow at the Cedar City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her eternal companion.

Sandra’s life was a testament to faith, family, and strength. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
