Sharleen Barber

Sharleen Hayes Barber, born January 28, 1943, passed away in the comfort of the Beehive Homes of St. George on March 16, 2023 at the age of 80. She was accompanied by the loving support of her sisters, Penny and Sandra.

Sharleen will be remembered for her endless generosity and unconditionally loving heart; always willing to support and give to those who needed it most. Despite life's challenges, she always maintained an unfaltering sense of humor, and a deeply compassionate soul. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful garden, painting and was well known for her involvement in Preston Street’s “Block Party”. An event in which the neighborhood celebrated through food, games and companionship. For many, the Barber Home will continue to be synonymous with the celebration of gathering and treasured memories.

She will be greatly missed.

Sharleen is survived by her grandchildren Caden, Gavin and Emma. Her siblings Penny, Sandra, Shauna and Kim. Preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Ralph. Her husband Albert “AB”, her son Anthony and her daughter Gina.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the residential clubhouse of Foothill Place Apartments, located at 2260 Foothill Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84109.
