Shirley Stout

Shirley Ann Stout, age 91, sadly passed away on October 8, 2025 and was surrounded by family. She was married to Richard Stout for 51 years until he passed away in May 2005

Shirley was born in Boise, Idaho on December 8, 1934. Shirley and Richard were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in December of 1953.

They moved to Utah after marriage and had three daughters: DeAnna (Jeff) Weaver, Holly Stout, and Kim Stout.

Shirley was a Pink Lady Volunteer in the hospital in Bountiful, Utah for many years. She loved serving and taking care of others. When they moved to St. George, Utah, she continued taking care of people through hospice during the 1990s to the year of 2000.

She is now with her husband in heaven along with her parents: Ralph and Myrtle Reedy.

Shirley is survived by her sister, Gala Emery; three daughters; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10:00am at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S. Dixie Drive, St. George, UT 84770.
