Therese Marie Eytcheson

Therese Marie Eytcheson, age 85, died on March 6, 2026. Therese was born in Chicago, Illinois to James and Irene. Therese is survived by her husband, Bryan, and her four children. Daughter Ann living in Texas, son Tom and his wife Sarah living in Ohio, son Mark and his wife Yolanda and their two children Ethan and Andrea living in New Mexico, and son Andrew and his wife Kate and their three children Morgan, Lauren, and Evan living in Colorado. Therese said her biggest joy was her family.

Therese entered the convent when she was fifteen and became a teacher. She left the convent after fifteen years of devotion. She then met Bryan in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They were married in Albuquerque where they raised their family. Therese eventually went back into the workforce and became the Religious Director for Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Albuquerque. Therese always loved to teach and felt education was so important to give to a child. That love continued throughout her life.

Therese and Bryan retired to Mancos, Colorado where they built a home. After about eight years of living in Colorado, they decided to move to St. George, Utah and have called St. George home for the past seven years.

As Therese requested, a mass will be offered for her at St.George Catholic Church on March 29th at the 11 am mass.
