Thomas Day

Thomas Gary Day, 85, died Sunday, September 9, 2018, at his home in St. George Utah.

Gary was born November 19, 1932, in Layton Utah to LeRoi and Meda Day. After attending Davis County schools, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served until honorably released in 1955. He went to work after his service at Hill Air Force Base until his retirement after 36 years.

Gary married Tonya H. Egbert in 1960 and raised their 3 children in Layton and Kaysville. In 1998 they moved to St. George where they enjoyed the beautiful weather and many lifetime friends.

Preceded in death by his parents LeRoi and Meda Day, three sisters and one brother. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Tonya, his children, Cori Shaw (Steve), Nathan Day (Annette), Stephanie Sparrow (Kevin) and two brothers Devon Day and Doug Day.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:00am at the Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S Dixie Dr, St. George, Utah
