Zorn Dale Hospodarsky, age 46, passed away from brain cancer on July 30, 2026 while on a fishing trip with his mom and brother in Soldotna, Alaska.
Zorn was raised in Washington, Utah and served an LDS mission in the Czech Republic. Zorn loved to explore and lived in many places, including internationally. He earned his BS from Dixie State and later attended Medical school in Dominica. From a young age, Zorn loved trucks, and after returning from his mission, became a professional truck driver. He enjoyed driving along the highways of this great country. He drove both locally and long-haul, crossing the country. Zorn always prided himself on how well he could back a 53-foot trailer or double trailers.
Fishing was Zorn's favorite pastime. He liked fishing from a boat, shore fishing, ocean fishing and ice fishing. He went to Alaska 3 times to fish for salmon and halibut. He lived long enough to make one final trip to Alaska to fish. On the Monday before he passed, he caught his limit of 2 halibut. Zorn also loved to travel. His travels included Europe (3 times), Costa Rica, and Dominica. Zorn is survived by his children, Brejden, Amilya, Cartr and Dejlee, He is also survived by his mother,Teri and his brother, Todd (Michelle).
Graveside Services will be Friday, August 14, 2026 at 8:00am at the Washington City Cemetery, 500 East Park View Dr. under the direction of McMillan Mortuary.
