Duane Sharp

St George, UT-Duane Leroy Sharp , passed away peacefully on May 5, 2022 in St. George UT. He was born on April 30, 1931 in San Bernardino CA to Herbert and Helen Sharp. He married Carol Thornton in Colton CA on May 6, 1955.

He worked for Caltrans for 28 years before retiring in 1994 and moving to Santa Clara, UT.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, son Kevin Sharp of St George and daughter Kristy Christopherson of Southern California. He has 4 grandchildren -Jeremy , Jessica, Aidan, and Gillian. He has 3 great-grandchildren-Marina, Remington, and Wesson.  He was preceded in death by his son, Kirk Sharp.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 at the LDS chapel at 3815 Rachel Dr, Santa Clara.  Viewing from 10:00am to 10:45. Interment at Santa Clara Cemetery, under the direction of McMillan Mortuary 435-688-8880.
