Evan Jay Beckstead, age 77, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all, passed away June 13, 2022 in St. George, Utah.

He was born February 28, 1945 in Ogden, Utah to his parents Norma Mae Peterson and Glenn Evan Beckstead. He was the oldest of 10 children.

After graduating from Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Weber State University.

He met his sweetheart, Iva (Wardle) Beckstead in San Francisco. They were sealed in the Provo, Utah Temple on September 22, 1973 and were married for nearly 49 years.
