Gary Simister

St. George, Utah- Gary Simister, 86, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2022. He was born to Earl and Florence Simister. He graduated from West High school in SLC in 1955. He worked various jobs, then worked for the State of Utah and finally, for the Utah Highway Patrol. He also served in the Air National Guard.

Survived by wife Judy, son Ryan (Fancy) Gilbert AZ.; daughter Connie, brother Phil, granddaughter Cassidy, and niece Diane (Garn) Merrill.

The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at The Meadows at Escalante for their loving care and Dr. Janie Earle and Canyon Home Care and Hospice.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Tonaquint Cemetery.
