On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, Mario Villicana, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 49.

Mario was born on August 15, 1970 in Puruandiro, Michoacan, Mexico, to Indalecio and Maria Villicana. He grew up in the ranch of Jururemba, Michoacan, Mexico, a place he dearly adored. He migrated to the United States  at the young age of 17 to Salinas, CA where a couple years later he met the love of his life, Zusana. On January 27, 1991 he married Zusana Uribe in  La Parroquia de La Inmaculada Concepcion in San Diego De Alejandria, Jalisco, Mexico. They raised a daughter, Crystal and two sons, Mario Jr. and Jesus.

Mario worked for over 12 years in agriculture in the state of California. He worked in irrigation, earned a diverse chemical operations certification, and then moved on to being one of the best Caterpillar/heavy equipment operators in his field. In 2005 he moved to Utah where he became a load out leader/head of department of Circle Four Farms for about 9 years,  he was known for his great ability of estimating the weight of the pigs and entire truck load before they got to the weigh station. Mario was very adventurous and tried out the oil field boom in North Dakota, he worked on an oil rig with one of his best friends, Gregorio and his son,  Mario Jr. then worked in spill containment with both of his sons for a few years. He then came back home to Utah and worked in landscaping in the sun river area of St. George.

Mario was a mathematician, he was able to do hard calculations in his mind. He amazingly achieved all of his accomplishments without knowing hardly any English. He shared a passion for cars with his sons. He enjoyed going to car events such as Sema, Midnight Mayhem, Vegas Drift, Car Shows and Monster Truck shows with his family. He loved to travel to his childhood home in Michoacan, Mexico to visit his mother.   He enjoyed going to Jaripeos/Rodeo events, and he was also was an avid music lover. He was known for being very hardworking, getting things done quickly, and for being very funny and outspoken, but also for his kind and compassionate spirit.

Mario was preceded in death by his father, Indalecio. He is survived by his wife Zusana, his three children, Crystal, Mario Jr., and Jesus, his grandchildren, Ramon and Noel, his mother, Maria, his brothers, Enrique and Alfredo, and his sister, Guadalupe, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services  will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, his visitation will be from 12pm-1:30pm at McMillan Mortuary 499 E. Tabernacle St. St. George, UT 84770 followed by a mass at 2pm at The St. George Catholic Church 259 W. 200 N. St. George, UT 84770. His burial will take place after mass at the Hurricane City Cemetery 225 E. 600 N. Hurricane, UT 84737. Flowers may be sent to McMillan Mortuary 499 E. Tabernacle St. St. George, UT 84770.

a la edad de 49 años. Mario nació el 15 de agosto de 1970 en Puruandiro, Michoacán, México, a Indalecio y Maria Villicana. Creció en el rancho de Jururemba, Michoacán, México, un lugar que adoraba mucho. Emigró a los Estados Unidos a la temprana edad de 17

años a Salinas, California, donde un par de años más tarde conoció al amor de su vida, Zusana. El 27 de enero de 1991 se casó con Zusana Uribe en La Parroquia de La Inmaculada Concepción en San Diego De Alejandria, Jalisco, México. Ellos criaron una hija,

Crystal y dos hijos, Mario Jr. y Jesús. Mario trabajó durante más de 12 años en la agricultura en el estado de California. Trabajó en riego, obtuvo una certificación diversa de operaciones químicas y luego pasó a ser uno de los mejores operadores de Caterpillar

/ equipos pesados ​​en su campo. En 2005 se mudó a Utah, donde se convirtió en un líder de carga / jefe del departamento de Circle Four Farms durante aproximadamente 9 años, era conocido por su gran capacidad de estimar el peso de los cerdos y la carga completa

Le encantaba viajar a la casa de su infancia en Michoacán, México para visitar a su madre. Le gustaba ir a Jaripeos / Rodeos, y también era un ávido amante de la música. Era conocido por ser muy trabajador, hacer las cosas rápidamente y por ser muy divertido y franco, pero también por su espíritu amable y compasivo.

Mario fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Indalecio. Le sobreviven su esposa Zusana, sus tres hijos, Crystal, Mario Jr. y Jesús, sus nietos, Ramón y Noel, su madre, María, sus hermanos, Enrique y Alfredo, y su hermana, Guadalupe, y muchas tías, tíos, primos, sobrinas y sobrinos. Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo el miércoles 20 de mayo de 2020, su visita será de 12 p.m. a 1:30 p.m. en McMillan Mortuary 499 E. Tabernacle St. St. George, UT 84770, seguido de una misa a las 2 p.m.en The St. George Catholic Iglesia 259 W. 200 N. St. George, UT 84770. Su entierro tendrá lugar después de la misa en el cementerio Hurricane City 225 E. 600 N. Hurricane, UT 84737. Las flores pueden enviarse a McMillan Mortuary 499 E.
