Robert "Bob" Prickett

August 11, 1952 — July 4, 2020

St. George, Utah

Robert (Bob) William Prickett passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 67. Although he stayed positive, Bob’s heart had grown tired after numerous heart attacks and he slipped peacefully away into the arms of his waiting parents.

Born and raised in Southern California, Bob found the slower pace of St. George to be the perfect place to spend his last years. Bob found a great group of friends and loved their regular game nights and activities.

Bob loved long drives where he could recall and share memories from decades earlier. Each of his kids has memories of roaming the country during road trips with their dad that they will always treasure. He loved oldies music and his car radio was often tuned to Anne Murray, Kenny Roger, and Engelbert Humperdinck. Turning off the Engelbert CD was not allowed.

Bob spent many happy days fishing, shooting, and golfing. He loved spending time with his family, talking and laughing into the early morning hours.

Bob is survived by his children Daniel (Shannon), Ryan, and Lisa; grandchildren Blakely, Gracie, Brenden, and Lily; sisters Vicki (Rick), and Linda; brother John (Carolyn), and numerous other family and friends on whom he made a profound impact.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Valda; and brother Larry.

We are grateful to the staff of Dixie Regional Medical Center for the care given to Bob in his final days, along with the support given to his family.

A viewing will be held Friday, July 10, 2020, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McMillan Mortuary, 499 E. Tabernacle Street, St. George, Utah. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 11 at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah at 10:00 am.
