Capuano, Roberto Nicola

“Bobby Cap”

Robert Capuano, 93 of Ivins, Utah passed away on June 24, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of Marge Capuano for 42 years, and moved to Ivins from Los Angeles, California over 25 years ago.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Frank and Carmela (Madonna) Capuano.

Besides his wife, he leaves one daughter, Roberta Gallina, of Mar Vista California and two Granddaughters, Sara Gallina and Talia Cintron, who meant the world to him.

He also leaves his siblings, Amelia Green of Washington and Marion Lapatti of Rhode Island.

He was the brother of the late Gloria (Capuano) Gabrielli, Frank Capuano, Jr. “Chick”, and Arthur and Joseph Capuano.  He also leaves several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He grew up in the Hartford Avenue section of Providence and, as a child, worked for his father in their family poultry business.

He also served in the US Army during World War II.

He will be remembered for his knowledge, his caring of others, his love and dedication to his family, his friendly personality, his wonderful stories, and especially for his ability to make everyone he met laugh with his many jokes (which he loved to tell repeatedly)! He loved horse racing and spending time with his family.
